Middle age man: Carl
Friday, May 23rd, 2008I am continuing my study of face, this time with a of a middle age man.
I used a single image as a reference. It’s a picture found on internet, and I have no idea of the name of this man but I like to give name to head that I sculpt. So this one is Carl.

WIP rollerblader – Skate
Sunday, April 27th, 2008Hi. I am starting a new character. It will be a rollerblader.
I begun rollerblading a long time ago, and even I don’t practice much latly, I still love this sport.
Very popular in the second half of 90s and early 2000s, the sport is now much more underground.
However, people who love this sport keep pushing it, despite the lack of exposure in massive media.
I want to make a little tribute to them.
So first things first , I made the skate. It’s a Remz 2007 team model.
I have try something different with Zbrush, more hard surface than organic.
Alien from Bjorn Hurri concept.
Monday, April 14th, 2008I recently found a stunning concept art by Bjorn Hurri.

Take a look at his portfolio/sketchbook there is a lot a cool stuff, and crazy design creature.
I couldn’t resist making a digital sculpture for this cool alien.
Just for fun, a screenshot with a bronze shader (shader by stumpf)
And a turn table.

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008Moloch WIP
Friday, March 28th, 2008This is my current WIP.
It’s based on a great concept made by Florent Maudoux for Rackham.

The modeling is complete at this stage.
All the polygonal modeling, and sculpting studies was made in Silo.
This is my first character mainly sculpted in Zbrush. I almost only used Mudbox for detailing before and a little bit Zbrush at the very end for some extra details. The only things that I can is that Zbrush is great.
